Hi, I'm Kerry and I am a portrait photographer located in Park City, Utah. I specialize in natural light custom photography. I usually work on location. I love photographing newborns, infants, and children.
I also do family and maternity sessions. My sessions are relaxed and I try to make sure that everyone has fun. I like to capture children with natural expressions doing what they love to do.
Enjoy my blog. This is where I share sneak peeks from my sessions, new product offerings, and maybe a few contests. Also feel free to check out my website . If you have any questions please drop me a line at kerry@kerrysundahlphotography.com
I'd love to hear from you!
Thanks!
Kerry Sundahl
As promised, here are some photos of Kyla’s brother, Lucas. This guy was a challenge! He did not think I was funny and he wasn’t falling for any of my tricks. Still, I think he had more fun than he wanted to let on
I think we got some cute shots that really captured his personality.
I just saw this post about a great giveaway! I love Kristin Rachelle. Her photographs are so inspiring. And I also love newborn hats, so I just couldn’t resist posting about this. If you want to see some really inspiring photos and some cute hats, go check out her site!
A couple of weeks ago I traveled to California for a birthday party with my husband. While we were there I had the pleasure of photographing our friends’ adorable children.
They were some of our first friends to have kids and I can still remember when Kyla was born. They have a photo of her on their mantle from when she was about 4. To this day when I think of her, that is the way she looks to me. I don’t know how she grew up so quickly!
We had a lot of fun taking photographs on Huntington Beach. The weather wasn’t very nice, so the skies weren’t very photo worthy. But we still managed to make the best of it and get some cute photos. Kyla was very photogenic and a great little model. I also photographed her little brother, and he was a different story
I’ll post some photos of him tomorrow!
I haven’t taken many photos of my own children lately. I really want to do a better job of capturing them while they are still so young. It is amazing how quickly they grow up.
I am taking an online photography class that is geared towards shooting in different and more difficult lighting conditions. This assignment was supposed to be shot in full sun. This is a lighting scenario that I usually avoid like the plague! It is so difficult to get flattering portraits. This time we were supposed to use backlighting–where the sun is behind your subject pointing at the camera.
I love how these captured the many faces of Nora!
