Anybody that came here from my personal blog knows about a site I frequent regularly. It is called I ♥ Faces. They have weekly contests and great photography tutorials.

Every Monday they have a photography contest with a certain theme. This week’s theme is sun flare. I knew immediately which photo I wanted to use. I captured this while learning how to use off camera flash. I loved it right away!

A few weeks ago I went to a great workshop with Ali Hohn from Rock That OCF (Off Camera Flash). I hung out with some great photographers–I saw some old friends and made some new ones.

Ever since the workshop I have been wanting to go out and try the techniques again. I made plans with a few photographer friends to set up a shoot. Heidi, Paige, and I finally got together this past Friday. We had a great time and the photos turned out great.

Wanna see what I have been doing this weekend? I attended and awesome photography workshop–Rock That Off Camera Flash, with Ali Hohn. I got to hang around with some fun talented photographers (Hi Heidi ) and learn more about flash photography. We had so many laughs and it was a really great weekend. I’m sad to see it come to an end.

The style is very different from what I usually do, but it was a lot of fun. Here are some of my favorite images from the weekend.
